MSIMBO: Revenue Technology Specialist Program

(formerly the MSIMBO Coding Bootcamp)

Revenue Operations is one of the fastest-growing career paths in tech — and few programs are training for it. ULEM's Revenue Technology Specialist program is one of the first community-based RevOps training programs in the country, built to prepare local talent for roles employers are struggling to fill.

 

This is a free, 10-week, stipend-based program for working adults ready to pivot into tech. No degree required. No prior tech experience required. No cost.

 

Participants train in:

  • CRM fundamentals, SQL basics, and Excel proficiency

  • Marketing automation, sales operations, and data visualization

  • AI-powered workflow automation

  • Portfolio development, mock interviews, and salary negotiation


Certifications earned, included at no cost:

  • HubSpot Revenue Operations Certification

  • Google AI Essentials Certification

 

The program runs in three phases: Foundations (Weeks 1–3),

Specialization (Weeks 4–7) including a matched industry mentor, and Career Launch (Weeks 8–10), closing with Demo Day, where participants present their work to employers and community leaders.

 

Sessions are live and instructor-led — Monday through Wednesday in person at ULEM in Boston (10 AM–4 PM), Thursday and Friday remote.

 

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Live in or near Greater Boston, including Brockton, Worcester, and the North Shore

  • Be committed to completing the program

 

Graduates are prepared for roles as RevOps Analysts, CRM Administrators, Marketing Operations Specialists, and Sales Operations Analysts — positions with entry-level salaries of $55,000–$70,000 in the Boston market.

 

Wraparound support is available based on individual need and assessed case by case.

 

This may include transportation, meals on in-person days, a loaner laptop, or emergency funds. Job placement support continues for 90 days after graduation.
