The Boston Carpentry Preparedness Program (BosCARP)
A partnership between the Boston Carpenters Apprenticeship & Training Fund (BCATF),
ULEM, and employer partners, Archer Corporation, Component Assembly
Systems, and Suffolk Construction, the program is a12-week program that
combines job readiness, and hands-on-experience training in the green

Employment Resource Center (ERC)
ERC is a walk-in service that allows job
seekers to learn more about career advancements, job coaching, case management,
resume writing, interview skills and structured job search. Up-to-date on-line
employment search databases such as Monster.com, VAULT, and ULWorks give
participants an opportunity to review their qualifications and match up with current

The Diversity Career Fair
A partnership between the Boston Globe and
Boston.com/Monster, the Job Fair provides a means for nearly 50 of the area’s
largest employers to recruit candidates of color. This year’s event was held on June
15th, 2009 at Fenway Park, and had an attendance of 752 diverse participants with a
range of professional backgrounds, and included employers representing a variety of
industries, such as financial services, food, hospitality, and technology.
