CALLING ALL URBAN LEAGUE FRIENDS!!!

Time is running out to have your membership accredited toward this fiscal year! The Urban League will be wrapping up its programs and services on June 28th, 2012. We provided job training, case management, employment resources, and/or job placement services to nearly 1,300 people this year and we want to make sure your membership contribution will impact them as they become self-sufficient.

If you would like to make a general contribution to our Jobs Rebuild Boston campaign, please click here. Any contribution will be accredited toward fiscal year 2012 and you will be listed in our upcoming annual report.

In addition to members’ benefits, your donation will go towards the general operating of ULEM. These are some of the ways in which your dollar is spent:

Chairman's Club ($1,000): Funds supplies and certified testing for an Pre-Employment Skills Training (PST) participant.

President's Club ($500): Funds a matching stipend to provide a child to participate in Camp Atwater, a summer camp program that provides young people recreational, physical fitness and social development.

Heritage Club ($125): Funds outreach and ads to hard-to-reach constituents who are in need of ULEM’s programs and services.

Family ($80): Funds curriculum and training materials for workshops.

Individual ($45): Funds the printing of newsletters and publications that showcase ULEM’s programs to increase support and contributions.

Senior/Student ($30): Funds books for our youth program.

Other

Guild ($30): Funds outreach materials and supplies to coordinate community meetings to increase participation among seasoned community residents.

Young Professional Network [YPN] ($50): Funds speakers forums and outreach events to increase education among young professionals so that they can become more engaged in the community.
