Mature Worker Program (MWP)

The Department of Mature Worker Services’ (MWS) programmatic focus is to assist mature workers in becoming economically self-sufficient. Through employment and training opportunities, MWS prepares adults 45 and older for entry into the workforce. Services include technology training, social service and education referrals and the Mature Worker Program. Starting July 2007, SCSEP has officially changed its name to Mature Worker Program (MWP).

The Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration has appointed the National Urban League to assist in the administration of Mature Worker Program. Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts offers services to men and women age 55 plus who are at or below poverty level and reside in Norfolk and Suffolk Counties.
