Wireless in Dudley delivers Internet access via a Wireless "Hot Spot" positioned within a fully interactive kiosk hub, in which a portion of (T1) bandwidth is provided by The Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts. The kiosk is placed on one of Dudley Square's popular Vendor Pushcarts: "The Black Library," located in the MBTA station. Your personal wireless device can also access the Internet within this public hotspot. By marrying this fully interactive computer kiosk with high speed wireless Internet access, Dudley Square patrons can quickly surf the Internet for key information, including (MBTA) transportation schedules, local weather, and news as well as retrieve email and even purchase books directly from the pushcart's own website at www.theblacklibrary.com. As well, a host of additional key products and services will be offered online including: Financial Services, Community News, Health and Wellness and other key sponsor web sites and service offerings.
